The Professional Provident Society or PPS Foundation was founded in 2016 with the main purpose of improving involvement to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) fields as well as to contribute to the sustainable development of South African communities. The PPS Foundation is awarding bursaries to financially deserving students who with superior academic achievements in the fields of: Science Technology Engineering Mathematics The company understands the scarcity of these important sectors in the country and therefore provides opportunities to combat the condition. Students can receive bursaries for the Humanities field as well. The bursary candidates are selected based on their academic performance and financial need. The bursaries will be awarded from the first year of the degree course itself. The bursary will cover the expenses of meals, textbooks, tuition fees, and university residence accommodation.
